Happy Nappy Costume FAQ's

For complete leak protection, the Happy Nappy™ component of the Happy Nappy Swimsuit™ must fit correctly. As babies vary in size, it's important to measure your baby accurately and refer to the size guide before purchasing.

Measure your baby while they are lying flat and not immediately after a feed. Take measurements around their tummy (at the belly button) and at the fullest part of their thigh. The swimsuit should fit snugly, with enough space to comfortably fit a finger around the edges of the seal, without leaving red marks

No, the Happy Nappy™ is designed to be worn without an additional swim nappy and is suitable for general swimming, paddling pools and beach trips. However, some organised swimming classes require a double nappy system. In these cases, you will need to use a Silver-Lining or Cotton Nappy Wrap underneath. This system can also make changing and washing a soiled Happy Nappy™ easier.

To maintain your Happy Nappy™ Swimsuit in the best condition, we recommend hand washing in cool water and drying away from direct sunlight. However, if a soiled nappy requires machine washing, use a 30° cycle with a non-biological detergent. Please note that frequent machine washing may reduce the product's longevity.

Like disposable swim nappies, the Happy Nappy™ within the Happy Nappy™ Swimsuit does not hold urine. It is designed to allow water to flow in and out, preventing it from becoming waterlogged. However, it is highly effective at containing solids.
