About Us
Splash About was born from our extensive experience working in the swimwear and clothing business, where for 20 years we have invented and developed products for babies, children and adults.
We were previously the founders of the respected brands, Polyotter and Tick Tock 1, 2, 3.
Our warehousing, distribution and accounts office are all based in the UK, while the Splash About customer service office is based in France with design and development happening there too. We have our own testing pool, and lots of sun to really make sure our fabrics have the full on treatment.
We consult parents, swim teachers and independent professional safety testing houses in the UK, France and Australia. Our products are tested for safety, functionality, strength and durability. We work hard to design and develop innovative swimwear products that provide parents with peace of mind, and that children love to wear.
The BabyWrap is a good example of this. We saw there was a need for a product that kept infants warm in water. We designed and made the prototype in 2001, using the best quality fabrics as we always do for Splash About products. It was an instant success with our ‘baby-testers’ and we brought it out into full-production, adding it to the Splash About product range, soon after.
We create original products and are proud that we set the standard for quality. Our products work because we listen to our customers.
